Our verdict
Lovense if you want the most app features for the money and paired toys for long distance. We-Vibe if you want premium build and the best wearable couples' toys, with an app that just works.

The short version
Both brands let a partner control a toy through an app, nearby or from across the world. Lovense is app-first and packs in more features at lower prices. We-Vibe is toy-first, with better build quality and an app that adds to the toy rather than being the whole point.
Where Lovense wins
- Features. Music sync, custom patterns, toy-to-toy syncing and interactive platforms.
- Price. Most app-controlled categories cost less than at We-Vibe.
- Paired toys made for long-distance couples of any gender combination.
Where We-Vibe wins
- Build quality and premium materials.
- Couples’ wearables like Chorus and Sync.
- Physical controls, so you aren’t always reaching for a phone.
A note on privacy
Both brands have had app privacy issues in the past (We-Vibe settled a class action in 2017; the Lovense app had an audio-recording bug the same year). Both fixed them, but any connected toy carries some risk. Use a strong password, check app permissions and read the current privacy policy.
Which should you buy?
Long-distance and love the tech? Lovense. Mostly together, and want a toy you’ll both feel during sex? We-Vibe.
