Brand guide

Arcwave

Womanizer's air-pulse technology, redesigned for penises.

Best for: Penis owners who want a premium, tech-led toy with a different sensation than a classic stroker.

What we like

  • A genuinely different sensation from traditional strokers
  • Premium build quality and body-safe materials
  • Easy to clean compared to many strokers
  • Backed by the Womanizer and We-Vibe group

Watch out for

  • Expensive, especially the Ion
  • Small range
  • Air-pulse stimulation doesn't work for everyone

Who Arcwave is

Arcwave launched in 2020 as the penis-focused brand of WOW Tech Group, the company behind Womanizer and We-Vibe, now part of Lovehoney Group. Its first big product, the Ion, applied Womanizer’s Pleasure Air idea to the penis: focused pulses of air on the frenulum instead of up-and-down stroking.

What Arcwave is known for

  • Pleasure Air for penises. A very different sensation from a sleeve or stroker.
  • Premium finish. Design and materials on a par with the group’s other brands.

Who should buy Arcwave

If you’ve tried strokers and want something new, or you want a premium gift for a partner with a penis, Arcwave is the most interesting option in the category.

Who might skip it

If you’re just starting out, Tenga lets you experiment for much less money.

Our verdict

Arcwave is a small but genuinely innovative brand. The Ion is pricey, but there isn’t much else like it.
