Brand guide
Satisfyer
The German brand that made suction toys affordable for everyone.
What we like
- Very low prices for the core air-pulse experience
- Huge range, with frequent new shapes and colours
- Body-safe silicone on the parts that touch the body
- Available almost everywhere, including drugstores in some markets
Watch out for
- Build quality and longevity vary more than with premium brands
- So many similar models that it's hard to tell them apart
- Fewer refined features (precise intensity steps, smart pause) than Womanizer
Who Satisfyer is
Satisfyer is based in Bielefeld, Germany. It launched in 2016 with the Satisfyer Pro 2, an air-pulse clitoral toy at a fraction of the price of the Womanizer models that pioneered the idea. That one product made “suction toys” mainstream, and the brand has since grown into one of the largest in the world by volume.
Its growth came with legal fights. Womanizer’s company challenged Satisfyer over patent claims shortly after launch, and Satisfyer’s own patents have since been used against other brands. For buyers, the practical takeaway is that Satisfyer’s air-pulse design is its own, not a counterfeit of Womanizer’s.
What Satisfyer is known for
- Price. You can get the core air-pulse sensation for a small fraction of premium prices.
- Range. Hundreds of models: clitoral, rabbit-style, app-connected, wearables and penis toys.
- Availability. Sold through most online retailers and many high-street shops.
Who should buy Satisfyer
If you are new to sex toys, curious about suction toys, or on a budget, start here. The Pro 2 has stayed popular for years for good reason.
Who might skip it
If you want a toy to last for years with heavy use, or you care about fine control and finish, a premium brand like Womanizer or LELO is a better long-term buy.
Our verdict
Satisfyer is the best-value brand in the industry. It’s not the most refined, but no other brand makes it this easy and cheap to find out what you like.
